Legend has it that Sage Vyas used to bathe in this lake during his meditation.

    DAY 1 : Arrival in Manali. Check in to Clifftop – Boutique Homestay

    After freshen up, visit to apple orchard and gorge at Kaaling area. Enjoy your lunch in a midst of apple orchard beside river Beas. Evening at the hotel. Clifftop is an experience for those who love snow-capped mountains, pristine nature and adventure. It’s for those who are not in a hurry and wish to spend quality time with family and friends. It’s for those who wish to witness the ethnic culture, customs and tastes local cuisine. Clifftop is a wonderful base for a traveller to explore the Himalayas and unwind in the pristine valley of Gods. Clifftop is located in beautiful village called Palchan which is just 15 minutes drive from main Manali town.

    DAY 2 : DRIVE VIA SOLANG VALLEY TO DUNDHI FROM CLIFFTOP AND BEGIN OUR TREK TILL BAKERTHACH

    ALTITUDE : 3350 METRES
    From Clifftop we drive to Dundhi via Solang valley from where we will start our trek to Beaskund. The climb to Bakerthach is a gentle ascent crossing a small stream near Palchani Thach and further crossing on a wooden bridge over river Beas. The terrain is soft with a gradual incline that will take you through towering fir trees and dense oak forest. An overnight camp at Bakerthach.

    DAY 3 : TREK FROM BAKERTHACH TO BEASKUND AND BACK TO BAKERTHACH

    ALTITUDE : 3350 METRES TO 3660 METRES
    Wake up to a beautiful morning in the Himalayas and fuel yourself with a lip-smacking breakfast for the trek. Begin the trek to Beas Kund to the base of Bhoj Patra and then negotiating a little traverse a steep ascend of 50 meter towards the line of terminal moraine of Beas kund glacier. You will notice the scenery changing around you as the vegetation keeps getting sparse and you can see the glacier from a distance. later we discover the tiny lake of Beas Kund which is believed to be the source of river Beas. Beas kund is also a base camp for the wonderful peaks of Shitidhar, Ladakhi, Manali, Friendship and Hanuman Tibba peaks. Visiting around the lake we retrace back to Bakerthach and overnight camp at Bakerthach

    DAY 4 : BAKERTHACH TO DUNDHI AND DRIVE BACK TO CLIFFTOP

    Today's day marks the end of this amazing adventure. After a mouth-watering breakfast, check out of the camps and begin our descend towards Dundhi. A vehicle from Dundhi will take us back to Clifftop. Overnight stay at Clifftop

    DAY 5 : MANALI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING AND DEPARTURE

    After Breakfast, drive for a local sightseeing of Manali which includes Vashisht Hot Spring, Hadimba Devi Temple, Old Manali, and Manali Mall Road. In the evening drop at Manali Volvo stand for onward journey with good memories.
